Exactly what you get, and what you don’t
With every lead
- The project address and zip code
- What’s being built, in the city’s words
- The date the permit was issued
- The company named on the permit, when the city lists one
- Which of your trades it fits: direct when the permit names that work, related when it’s our rule-based guess
- A link to the official city record
Not included
- No homeowner names, phone numbers or emails. The city doesn’t publish them and we don’t look them up.
- No contact details for the companies on the permit.
- No promise a job is open. The owner may already have a contractor.
Most contractors follow up by stopping by, mailing a flyer to the address, or contacting the builder named on the permit. A permit means work is starting. The first company to reach out has the edge.

Questions
Do I get the homeowner’s phone number?
No. You get the project address and the details from the city’s permit record. Most contractors follow up in person, by mail, or through the builder on the permit.
Is every lead a job I can win?
No. It’s a new project that just received a permit, before most competitors notice. Your follow-up decides the result.
What does “related” mean on a lead?
It’s our rule-based suggestion, for example a new home that will probably need landscaping. It’s not a confirmed need.
Where does the data come from?
The City of Austin’s open data portal. Permit records can be updated or corrected by the city at any time, so check the official record before you act.
Which trades do you cover?
Fence and landscaping now. Pool, gutter, and blinds lists may follow.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. Reply to any email to cancel.
